I’ve identified an issue affecting a small % of users where Wifi Fixer’s network detection may not work properly. (It’s in the http header check, which should only fire if the icmp ping/echo check fails, or isn’t supported)

Seems that there’s a bug either in Java or Android framework which can under some circumstances lead to an infinite timeout, ignoring the timeout values.

Anyway, depending on how long it takes to find a solution, I may do a minor revision release to get the fix out, since it’s affecting more people than the other bugfixes scheduled for 0.8.0.4
