Wifi Fixer is a low-resource service for the Android platform that maintains the health of your wifi connection automatically.
It was written for the T-Mobile G1 as a test of the Android SDK after noticing that the wifi connection would often “wedge”, showing connected but unable to send data. That was an application without a UI which would simply reset the association.
Later it became a service, checking the connection, and repairing it automatically.
Wifi Fixer has grown from there, and is now a must-have for anyone who relies on wifi on their Android device.

I’m really curious how you’re managing to toggle wifi on 1.5+
I’m currently working on trying to improve Nook’s UI, and am running into the fact that they’ve now moved wifi control outside the realm of user-permissions. I’ve tried a number of things, but everything is giving me a big F U when I try it.
Could you tell me how you’re toggling?
WifiManager.setWifiEnabled works. Is that what you’re wondering?
This is a great idea. Getting in touch with the developer is a plus IMHO.
what I find missing in market is an application that can allow us to indicate a key index different than 1. On my X10 is fixed to 1 while my organization uses 2
It’s something that could be done entirely in java. The WifiManager interface supports changing out keys.
If there’s enough demand I’ll look into it, but it seems a bit outside the scope of my app.
Any idea on 2.2 timeline? I know it’s not actually out yet but I’m just wondering if you’re still working on it or not. I do still have the same problems for example with wifi going to sleep when it shouldn’t.
Thanks!
I used to have the problem with the Wifi connection showing connected but no data would flow. I used Wifi fixer which helped but did not completely resolve the problem. I tried a few other things I saw mentioned around, but the one thing that helped the most was to created a separate G Wifi network on Channel 1 that is open but not broadcasting the SSID. This got rid of my original problem. Now, including after switching to Froyo, I get the issue where the Wifi connection is completely dropped occasionally for no good reason. I have to stop and restart Wifi, or it just sits there “scanning” but never finding the network.
I wanted to reinstall Wifi fixer to see if it would help with this new problem, since I think it is related to Wifi disconnecting when the N1 goes into Sleep mode, even though I have the option set to not disconnect Wifi when it does that. However, while I still have the donate program for Wifi Fixer on my phone, I do not have the actual program. And now I cannot find it in my Android Market either! What happened to it?
I apologize for the disappearance. The evidence right before last release was that Wifi was completely functional on Android 2.2. I started getting email from people saying that Wifi Fixer didn’t do anything at all to improve their wifi from people running 2.2, so I decided to remove it from the market for people on Froyo. I’ve since gotten enough evidence that some people are having problems to change this in the next release which should be this next week. You’ll see it available again then.
Speaking from experience, the Nexus One has one or two troubles, and your app does seem to fix one of them:
One issue, that seems to affect many (but perhaps not all?) is the phone dropping the router even when placed close by. On 2.1 it said “Disconnected, tap to try again” while on 2.2 it says “Disabled, protected with WPA.” Your app DOES seem to alleviate this somewhat, hooking the phone back up as need be. At least, I think it is. More research is to be done.
The N1 has a second issue, which seems to be restricted to AT&T band models, which is where the phone loses wi-fi access entirely when the screen goes to sleep. Downloads are interrupted, streaming audio stops, etc. Your app does not fix this issue, I’m trying to talk to HTC to see what they will do about it.
Anyway, thank you for making this app. If it is alleviating some of the problems I’ll be sure to drop a donation.
Keeping the wifi radio on during sleep all the time would kill your battery. However, turning on the wifi lock option should let you finish downloads.
I cant get on my cordless wifi with my android phone it says authenticatin scan and then disconnect I need step by step easy to understand steps
Do you have any intents built into WiFi Fixer? I use another program to decide if I want to have WiFi connectivity at a place or not and I only want your program running when I decide that I want an active connection.
It would be fantastic if I could automate the whole process.
I do, but not that would be useful for your purpose.
I would actually suggest that you want to disable wifi when you’re not using it as that saves battery by not having your wifi scanning for known networks. It would do this regardless of Wifi Fixer if not connected.
Your app worked well(!), until I combined it with Y5 Battery Saver, which basically remembers nearby cells when WiFi is connected. When you’re in a cell, where Y5 has never seen you connected on WiFi, the WiFi is switched off. Very simple and effective way to save power.
Now, WiFi is as unreliable as before. Background syncs usually does not occur and forced sync or browsing the internet fails more often than works, until I manually reset WiFi radio. I’m assuming this is because of a conflict with Y5, however I’m not sure.
As a non-developer, I do find it odd if an app that monitors WiFi when on, and re-associates connections as needed, cannot co-exist with apps like Y5, that switches radio on/off.
Strange thing is that even when pressing the widget (both when seth to reset wifi and reassociate), manually activating WiFi Fixer, nothing happens – still no connection.
Again, as a non-developer, I’m not sure if the “bug”/problem lies with how Wifi Fixer or Y5 controls WiFi. Alternatively, how long will it take a skilled developer like yourself, to replicate what Y5 does? 🙂
If Y5 is just turning wifi on/off it shouldn’t be an issue, but it’s likely doing more than that.
Due to the way Android works, there’s one wifi “service” that all applications go through, with no good way to tell what other applications are doing. It’s certainly possible for other apps which talk to wifi to conflict with Wifi Fixer, which perhaps I should make clear in the documentation.
I will look into it when I start the next experimental branch.
Duplicating y5’s functionality would be a less-than-optimal solution, though.
I actually used y5 briefly, but it stopped working when I switched to a CDMA phone, and it was easy enough to turn wifi on and off manually.
Thanks for quick reply!
I liked Y5, because my battery usually drains within a day, and with Y5, I could just leave WiFi switched on and it would be on when there’s a known Wifi network.
I guess I can live with switching on/off via widget on home screen ;-).
I picked Wifi Fixer over Y5, as a Wifi connection that is on when it’s on is more important 🙂
I will be looking into mitigating conflicts with y5 and other wifi apps in the next version.
Hi there!
I would love to know if there is any work being done to lessen the period of “datalessness” between turning off the screen and WiFi Fixer kicking in properly. WiFi Fixer is already a great tool, but turning that 30 second delay into, say, a 3 second delay, would make it hardly noticable 🙂
You’re talking about the N1 sleep issue, I assume?
The code was tweaked a bit and it should be better with the 0.7.0.3 release. It’s a driver issue, though, so I can’t really do anything more from java.
Sad that there needs to be a workaround.
Cyanogen mod 6 has a driver fix, and supposedly the new build of Froyo that leaked from Google has a driver fix, too.
Hi,
I’ve been having trouble connecting with WEP encrypted wifi network at work that uses shared key. I enter the key but can never seem to connect. Is there anyway wifi fixer can help (such as disable supplicant etc.) or do you have any other suggestions/leads?
P.S. Is Android 1.5 able to do WEP with shared key to begin with?
Android doesn’t tell you when your shared key is wrong, it just disconnects. I’d suggest making sure the key is right. Keys are case-sensitive.
1.5 does WEP fine in my experience.
Latest release broke my wifi connectivity on Droid-x with Enterprise WPAv2 network. Wifi always goes to disconnected state now. Would love to have access to previous 0.7.0.2 release. Can you post in downloads on github.com?
0.7.0.3.1 is up on the market which should take care of the issue. Please use the in-app logging feature for trouble reports if there are any further problems.
Gracias por esta aplicación. me ha sido de gran ayuda.
De nada. Me alegro de que ayuda.
I love that wifi fixer reconnects to my known APs, like when I go from home to work.
It would even be better if it disabled wifi automatically while not near any of the known APs, for example, while I am driving from home to work (or maybe it does, but I haven’t found the magic switch 😉
Wifi Fixer doesn’t do location-based wifi switching.
Location-based switching of wifi isn’t as much of a battery saver over just keeping wifi on as you might think. The problem is that without GPS-based location or wifi being on, all you have is cell towers to determine where you are. So you have to keep polling nearby cell towers (a la Y5), which means a lot of wake locks and processing.
I’m trying to keep Wifi Fixer as focused and low-resource as I can. It doesn’t seem like a good design tradeoff to me to add that functionality.
Hi there, I’m looking for something that will help me eek out some more battery life using android as a wifi-only voip platform.
I’m hoping that finding a way to connect to a network and kill all wifi scanning until the signal drops below a threshold will help me get there.
Any chance you know of a faculty for doing this?
I don’t think you can override android’s default wifi behavior, so you mightn’t be able to stop system scans, but using WifiManager you can certainly initiate scans and check signal.
Hello, I have a HTC Desire, my problem is that when my screens turn OFF after a while also my WiFi connection drops. When I put the screen on again, the WIFI connection resets and connetcs again. I downloade this app but I dont now how to configure it to fix this… What options I have to check/uncheck? I’m not interested in scanning new WIFI networks or so… because I use wifi only at home, so I would save any unuseful battery consumption.. I just want that Wifi doesnt drop during screen off. thanks for help!
Thanks for your question.
Set Wifi Usability to Max Wifi. That should keep you connected!
How does this work with the stock Battery Saver? Can you disable it during the ‘off-peak hours’ ?
If your battery saver disables wifi, Wifi Fixer will go dormant, so not use battery. The current version might be a bit twitchy if wifi is disabled by the system, 0.8.0 will be a lot more friendly.
Hey,
I just came across your website and learned about your Android app. I have a Samsung Galaxy TAB running Froyo 2.2. I experience difficulties with my home wireless connection where the connection gets looped to Obtaining IP address and then becomes disabled after a couple of days of use. The only solution to this is to restore my tablet to factory default settings, but that requires re-installation of every app. Can your application help in solving this? (Also have you ever heard this problem from someone else’s mouth). I will be happy if you can help.
Thanks
Kshiraj Telang
Meanwhile, my WiFi is running on WPA2-Personal security on a Belkin Wireless G Router. Hope that helps? 🙂
I’ve not tested that configuration, but the general workarounds in Wifi Fixer may help. Even if they don’t, the logging built into the app could help provide better data on the problem.
Hi, I have HTC Dream (G1). My WIFI has stopped working. Whenever I check “Turn on Wifi”, it says “Unable to start Wifi”. It also shows “Mac address unavailable”. Can you tell me what could be the problem?
Sounds like a driver wedge. Try rebooting the device.
Hi, I’m having the exact same problem as Azeez, but almost every time I want to use wifi. Sometimes I’m able to connect, but then a while after it stops working. Sometimes simply won’t connect. Ocasionally I have this issue and after a while (maybe half a hour or more) I can connect again.
If I have to reboot the phone it’s a pain in the ass 😦 Maybe I could test your app and see what happens. How should I get it? I also have taken a log of the system using dmesg when I have had this issues, so if you’re interested in taking a look please tell me.
So, you’re having the “Unable to start Wifi” error?
The app is on the Android Market. If you don’t for some reason have access, the apk can be downloaded from the github repository, which is linked on the project page.
Yeah, that’s the problem. Anyway I’ve tested WifiFixer and it does not work for me. Better said, it works but does not resolve my problem.
The problem that my phone often runs into is that when it’s time for the Wifi connection to re-authenticate, it gets stuck at “Authenticating with…” and never completes authentication.
When the phone is in this state, some apps still work over wifi, and some don’t (I’m guessing because some check the Wifi/Data state before sending data, and some just blindly attempt to send data.)
When the phone is in this state, disabling and re-enabling Wifi fixes it.
Will Wifi Fixer detect this condition?
0.8.0 should. I added code to check for ASSOCIATION state getting stuck in the supplicant, which seems to be a new problem with Android 2.2
The RC is available on the main page. It’ll be in the market soon if you don’t want to try the RC.
For what it’s worth, I used to have the exact same problem on my T-Mobile G1 under 1.6, so I’m not entirely sure that it’s a new problem…
It also only happens at my office (never at my house), so the AP/Router seems to have something to do with it.
I am having the same problem, but it got started when I use the ZyXEL wireless modem! Other modems don’t have this “re-authenticating”. So I guess maybe an extra check for modem is the cause…
What should I do for that? Can you fix it?
The zyxel has been a problem for a lot of people. It’s in the firmware, nothing to be done, sorry.
Thanks for the reply. I’ll grab it as soon as I see 0.8.0 hit the market….
It works pretty good, but sometimes it seems to be a little to aggressive about resetting wifi when the process of connecting and getting an IP address takes a few seconds.
Everything looks like it’s going along (albeit a little slowly), and suddenly wifi fixer gets impatient and resets wifi, and the whole process has to start over (only to get interrupted again just before the connection is finalized.)
Usually it works well. I only run into this problem occasionally.
Anyone can help me. I’m using g1 dream. When I start wifi, it’s always scanning but never find anything. But mac address shown.n I don’t that hardware failure or software. I’m use froyobylaszlo2.1. Radio rom 2.22.28.25.Anyone please help me.
A lot of custom roms have wifi issues. Check the user forums for yours and see if anyone else has issues
Thanks for the info, but I’m new to this, can I d/load to my computer &then install on phone? becausec I ‘m showing my wifi is connected, but all my apps say not connection establised
Thanks!
If you can’t use 3g to access the market, you can download from the GitHub site linked on the project page on your computer.
I have a Desire HD and while I can connect to my home router (DLink-615), that connection is dropped after some time. After which, I can no longer connect or even if I can connect, I’m not able to access internet.
Worse still, is that the rest of my laptops and PCs will also drop their internet connection. The only way is to reset the router by power cycling. I’ve tried FXR but that was not able to resolve my problem. This issue is similar to http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1698
Just wondering whether this app could help me. Many thanks!!
Hiya, any chance of integrating with Elixer somehow? Easy option would be to have a second launcher shortcut, that fired the same action as the widget does. Elixer can add app shortcuts, but not widgets. Touchdown does this, makes it a really easy way to integrate support into different widgets.
Hi. Thanks for creating the awesome Wifi Fixer app. I just started using it, but it seems to help with my Nexus One wifi sleep problems.
However, it’s not automatically starting at boot and I can’t figure this out. It looks like it’s supposed to, in the permissions. Any ideas? I’m not using an automatic task killer. I am using CM7 nightly.
Thanks.
CM (and some custom/vendor roms) has a quirk where the method I’m using to delay startup after boot doesn’t work. I’ve got a bugfix for that coming in the next release.
Ah. Thanks for the explanation. And for the great app!!
I’m using 0.8.0.4 now (still with CM7) and it is still not launching at startup, although the release notes seem to suggest this bug has been fixed. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Just a further note, I just downloaded 0.8.0.4.1 and wifi-fixer still does not start at boot. Is this the release that was supposed to have the bugfix in it? Other than that, wifi-fixer is a great help, so thanks for creating it.
Thank you for this application! It helped me once. But it helped only once, Wifi Fixer could not correct my wifi problem after the first time. I’ve even remove it and installed again. Trouble started after I installed Wifi Finder (from the market) on my Motorola Defy with CyanogenMod 7. Wifi went down and I could not connect anywhere. Wifi Finder helped the first time, but after that, the only solution was to load and configure wifi manually: modprobe tiwlan_drv; start wlan_loader; ifconfig tiwlan0 up; start wpa_supplicant; echo “/ p a 7\n/ p k 0\n/ p p \n/ c c \n/ q” | wlan_cu -itiwlan0 > /dev/null. I’ll probably install an update or reset because this is very unproductive. If I can help by sending you logs/config files from my phone, please tell me.
Yes, logs from inside of the app with details help. Please be descriptive.
Hello and thanks for this great app
I’m using it for awhile and sometimes it shows me that wifi is resetting without doing anything, is this a normal behaviour ?
Thanks
I’m using android 2.2 and i started using this app when my handset sometimes didn’t reconnect to my network in home
It is. Wifi being reset is the only way to restore the supplicant to proper function when Wifi Fixer detects a problem.
Yes. That’s the only way to fix a stuck supplicant.
Hi wififixer is there by any chance you can make an app that changes the wep key i mean like i can choose what wep so ican use the wifi internet my wifi at home is wep 2 😦
I am a mere user and not a coder, but I have an idea that I think
could be a valuable workaround for the notorious Wifi/3G dead internet
data problem (you know…full signal bars, but unable to open a
webpage or retrieve any other data from the internet).
I think I have tried nearly a dozen of the available WiFi “fixers” and
none of them have worked. But from my own experience–and also from
browsing the forums–the most common manual workaround seems to be
cycling Airplane Mode when one notices that they are no longer able to
access the internet.
So…all you have to do is automate that process!
The apps I have already tried (and that failed) seem to do one of two
things: either they simply check the connectivity status that the
smartphone is seeing, or they ping the LAN IP. Neither of those tests
is getting to the root of the issue. Connection to the Internet is
what must be tested!
My idea is to ping, say, three very reliable websites, like
google.com. If all three fail, then auto-cycle Airplane Mode. That’s
it!
Hope that helps,
Everette
Just saw this. Toggling airplane mode does exactly the same thing (resetting the supplicant) as my app does (resetting wifi).
Airplane mode can’t be changed without using “hidden” APIs, anyway.
Ok…but your app doesn’t solve the “no internet data” problem any better than the rest of them.
What about the rest of my post? Does your app check for actual internet data throughput (as to an external domain), or only for some android connection state? If it is the latter, then that might be the problem.
The only other thing I can add is that when this problem is happening…to quote from my previous post “(you know…full signal bars, but unable to open a webpage or retrieve any other data from the internet)”…the signal icons in the notification bar for both cell network AND wifi network are all grey. When data is flow is good, they are both blue.
Good luck,
Everette
Sorry I didn’t reply earlier. WordPress’s notifications haven’t been working.
As of 0.8.0.6 Wifi Fixer uses 2 methods to detect a working connection: ICMP/echo to the router with http HEAD to the router then Google if the router fails.
You are correct in that this will not currently detect a network which has no connection to the internet if the router ICMP check succeeds.
The reason for this is that a good % of users either use portal-authenticated open wifi or networks which have no internet connection, where primary network checks requiring external connections would report failure.
It is possible to have a per-network option to check for internet connectivity first. I’m looking into adding that as a feature at some point provided I can make it as transparent for non-technical users as I can.
I have a problem with Skype on the Nexus One, where whenever the screen turns off during a call (due to the proximity sensor) wifi resets itself, terminating the call. Is there any way wififixer can address this? I have all the don’t sleep settings set, in wififixer. Thanks.
Turn off the N1 experimental fix in advanced.
Should do it.
Thanks! I’ll give that a try.
Will turning this off reintroduce other problems? What’s the experimental fix for?
Hi there, i saw your great work and i can see that you are a really guru in wifi with those android devices
i’m studying how android battery consumptions are different with different access points
I have 2 access points
with the first AP i did a ping from my desktop pc to android and i get an average of 300ms with screen off, my battery lasts 1 day and 18 hours
with the second AP i get an average of 1000ms with screen off and my battery lasts 2 days and 8 hours
Does the android reacts differently to different AP and that results in more or less power consumption ?
the two AP are close to my android
Good question!
Some APs support power saving modes which might be able to save a little more battery. Some wifi chips/drivers may be able to take advantage of it.
Unfortunately it’s a crapshoot as to what’s going to work well or what isn’t. Manufacturers have been shoddy about implementing the power save modes correctly.
I don’t have comprehensive information on the subject other than knowing a few devices/APs that work well together in power save mode.
I can tell you that setting Wifi Sleep Policy to never and enabling long preamble in advanced access point settings will help you stay connected in low power mode.
wifi is showing its status as Error
Without further information, that sounds like the Samsung Galaxy issue mentioned in Known Issues in the help.
If that doesn’t clear things up please send a log and make sure to describe the problem. I’m running way behind on email support currently.
Hello,
Is there any place where I can read the documentation. I downloaded the app but the help is not very complete. Especially what does the advanced options mean, like wifi lock?
I am looking to do something like this, is it possible with wifi fixer?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483065
Thanks
Gonza
I am terrible at user-facing documentation. I’ll write something, then realize I overexplained, then try to pare it down to something simple enough to use, then it’s too simple…
Unfortunately there’s not enough money to hire a professional technical writer for the documentation yet. I had a volunteer for last release, but things didn’t work out.
I addressed your question on XDA.
Using CyanogenMod 9 on LG Optimus 2X (p990), I started seeing the WIFI disconnect problem for the first time. I had changed my WIFI router to belkin and started doubting the router. I simple search lead me to this application. It appears to have solved the problem, I am impressed. Thank you. Wonder why this has not got into the mainstream yet!
My comment was a little too early, When the screen went off, the WIFI connection went off too. Though I have set the wifi sleep policy to ‘never’. The same works fine with office wifi network with no problems.
i have a SCH-R880 i try to use my wifi on it but every time i try to turn it on it says error
Hi,
I’m using Android 4.0.2 on Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I encounter an issue with my wifi connection. When I listen to an online radio (streaming with Tune In Radio app for instance), there are silences and sometimes it completely stops playing.
When screen is turned off or locked, it always stops playing, even with the Wifi Sleep option set to not disconnect wifi when screen is off (and even with WifiFixer, all options activated to maximise wifi usability). Only solution I’ve found : using an app like Screen On to keep the screen on…
By the way, I’ve noticed that when the wifi scanner Wieye is working, there are no more silences.
Does someone have an explanation for the non working Wifi Sleep option or for the silences ?
Could it be possible to implement a workaround in WifiFixer by “copying” what Wieye does to/with the wifi ?
Thanks.
james
Did you try enabling the “Nexus One Sleep Fix”? That one worked for me even though I have a T-Mobile mytouch 4G slide (HTC Doubleshot).
I’m curious what that setting actually does. Is there some further explanation that I have overlookied?
all the n1 sleep setting does is toggle wifi off then on again right after the screen goes off. This forces the connection out of the low-power state that causes problems with some routers.
It happened to work because of a bug in the driver for the N1 at the time, and seems to help for some people, but in most cases it’s worse, since it guarantees dropping your WiFi connection for at least a few seconds when the screen goes off.
Hi there and thanks for this great app
When i’m not near my Access Point and when i put the screen on wifi fixer usually do the reset wifi thing, tooggling off and then on
it’s possible to be reseted when screen is off with no intervention of myself ?
Wifi Fixer has been doing a really good job on my S3 until I switched on support for BT (British Telecom) Free Wifi APs. Now it will sit connected to one of those even in preference for my home APs (one of which happens to a BT hub so it comes with the free AP SSID). However those are captive portals until you enter your password or until the BT app logs in for you. In these circumstances I would have thought that Wifi Fixer would have failed it’s connectivity tests and dropped the connection but it fails to do that.
I have tried DISABLE on the free SSIDs but it soon reverts back to enabling them – I can’t see why. The Toggle Non-Manage switch seems incorrect but I can’t see any documentation for what it does – am I just looking in the wrong place?
I’ve avoided running any other wifi utilities (except Auto WiFi Toggle) though before I knew of Wifi Fixer I used to use Wi-Fi Ruler which blocked these troublesome free SSIDs but was not as good as your app at fixing poor connectivity in a house with multiple APs with the same SSID.
Any suggestions?
Raza
Hi, I would like to understand if the apps is able to fix the network to a certain BSSID? Will the device WiFi drivers fight with you to try to connect to a better RSSI’s BSSID?
Hi i have the Lg Optimus G. My home wifi is not connecting. It says “ip address unnavailable” and my wifi says “saved secured, authenticating” then repeats. It hasnt worked ever since ive updated my software. Any help on how to fix this? I also dont know if i can downgrade or how to. Thx 🙂
In the app’s help section it indicated something about reducing the number known networks that are listed. How do you go about doing this? It’s picked up every network I’ve ever connected to or attempted to connect to, so there are a lot of known networks. I just need to know how to get rid of the excess ones.
Never mind on the previous question; I found the answer myself. But now I do have another question because the app was not able, unfortunately, to establish sustained connectivity. We did learn more about what the problem actually was, however, thanks to the information we were able to obtain by using this app.
My question now is, where do I go from here? It appears that my tablet is communicating with the router without a problem, but is failing to pick up the IP address and therefore actually connect to the internet. Ideas?
APK download by dropbox does not work (returns 404)
Please fix for us who can’t access google-play. Thanks!
hi. I really need some help. My phone’s kinda weird. It connects to a Wi-Fi network, and then suddenly, it disconnects for some unknown reasons. And when I try to connect it to the same Wi-Fi network again, it just keeps on searching and searching and searching though the Wi-Fi signal is more than excellent. It doesn’t connect again until now. Then I tried to connect it on another Wi-Fi connection, and it does connect.
Now, I used another phone to connect from that 1st wifi connection, and ola! It connected real quick. Please teach me how to fix this. Thank you. 😥
My WiFi still cuts in and out using this app, just as it did before. It always disconnects at the step in the log “supplicant state:associating”. As soon as that shows it drops, even with 3-4 bars WiFi. I only have this issue using the ROM I have (slimbean 4.2.2 unofficial port for p9070) but its my favorite ROM by far. Please let me know if there is a way to stop the WiFi signal from dropping. Thanks
